Inital training
Initial training is organised for all volunteers so that they are well prepared for their role in the Bradford Nightstop team. Each volunteer is issued with a DVD on Youth Homelessness and the Bradford Nightstop Handbook. The training is at the pace of the individual who is applying and can be fitted around the rest of their commitments

Telephone Contact People
Policies such as Equality and Diversity, Confidentiality and Bradford Nightstop's Referral Policy. Practical exercises based on a variety of potential referrals, passing messages on, understanding how the scheme works...
Drivers
Policies such as Equality and Diversity, Confidentiality and Bradford Nightstop's Referral Policy. Developing an understanding of the role of Safe Waiting places, Minimising Risks and understanding how the scheme works...
Hosts
Policies such as Equality and Diversity, Confidentiality and Child Protection. Opportunities to hear from experienced hosts. Practical exercises on Welcoming Young People, Minimising Risks and understanding how the scheme works...
Management Committee
Policy issues including those relating to employment of staff and policies which underpin the whole of the organisation such as Equality and Diversity, Confidentiality and Bradford Nightstop's Referral Policy. Meeting with the Project Coordinator and Management Committee members to gain an overview of the structure of the organisation and current issues.
Office Volunteers
Policies such as Equality and Diversity, Confidentiality and Bradford Nightstop's Referral Policy. Office Systems and Procedures. Meeting with the Project Coordinator and other staff so that there is a clear understanding of the team's roles and responsibilities.
