Young volunteers

Young volunteers are welcomed and valued by Bradford Nightstop so if you're 16-25 don't delay, Nightstop wants to hear from you. You could make a valuable contribution to Nightstop in letting us know how our service can be improved from a YOUNG person's point of view.

If you are looking for a service to complete for your Duke of Edinburgh Award, completing the Millenium Volunteers programme, want to improve your CV or just join a committed team of people all trying to challenge youth homelessness in your local area, then we are the charity for you.

You could help us out in a number of different ways, even just talking about us to your friends could make a difference. You could help us out with fundraising, organise your own event, run a marathon on behalf of Bradford Nightstop, the list is endless! You could help us to design new posters/leaflets for our service, just get in touch and we'll see what we can do to help you.

We have recently had two young people on a 3 month placement wth us as part of Global Exchange, through the charity VSO. The two young people, one from the UK and one from South Africa worked with us on a number of projects and developed a Safe Waiting Zone booklet to secure more partner agencies who can offer safe waiting places for young people during the day before they can arrive at a Nightstop Host. They also organised a fun day morning fundraising event at Shipley Youth Cafe.
