Our partnership with Bradford Youth Service
Over the last couple of years Bradford night stop has developed a strong partnership with Bradford youth service. It has allowed us to provide a safe place for young people to wait inbetween the time the referral agency shuts and the time the host is available. It also allows the young people a chance to work with trained youth workers and perhaps to work through their issues.
They are able to access a computer and also a washing machine. They are able to get a hot drink and some food. The rate of re-referrals of young people that have used the youth cafe have decreased dramatically since the partnership has developed showing that this is a very successful thing for everyone involved.
