Designated workers
Many agencies refer young people to Bradford Nightstop. We ask that referring agencies receive training from our staff regarding our policies and procedures. This enables us to be sure that referral agencies carry out a thorough risk assessment of any young person before contacting our volunteers. Your agency should have a referral agency pack from us.
We currently have almost 60 designated people at many different partner organisations. Designated people receive our updates and sort expense claims. They may also cascade training throughout their organisation if appropriate. We have just updated our referral pack and have mailed one out to all referral points. For the first time we are also emailing copies of our referral form out to agencies we have agreements with so that they have copies on their PC's.
