Do you need somewhere safe to sleep tonight?
Bradford Nightstop is an emergency accommodation scheme. It really should be used ONLY in an emergency if you have no where else to stay. Can you stay with a friend? Can you stay with a member of your family? Can you stay with extended family? Can you afford a night in Bed and Breakfast? The referral agency you go to will try all the direct access hostels suitable for you.
Only if absolutely necessary will you be referred to Bradford Nightstop.
We say this because there will be one or more young people tonight in Bradford who has absolutely no where they can go to stay tonight. If you use our last bed instead of a sofa at your grandmas, the other young person may be faced with sleeping rough.
Maybe things are not perfect at home but you are not in danger. In this case going to Bradford Housing Advice Team and asking for mediation would be a good idea if you are 16 or 17. Perhaps visiting Bradford City Centre Project and getting advice would help. (Please see 'where to go to for help' page) It may be possible to apply for a flat in a project like Impact Living or Homekey. Your move to this kind of accommodation will not be immediate but once you know that you will be moving out of your situation, maybe you will be able to cope for a short while.
It may help you if you read one of our Information Leaflets.
If you still feel that you need somewhere to stay tonight go to our 'Where Can I go for help' page.
