Who can you ring for advice?

Who can you ring for advice?

You may not need an overnight bed with Bradford Nightstop tonight but you  may need some advice with regard to your housing. You could phone one of the agencies listed on the "Where to go today for help" page.  If you are at school or college then speak to a member of staff about your situation. If at all possible try to work our your difficulties by asking for support as early as possible.

Are you unable to get to one of our referral points

Because you are at work, please be reassured that in our experience most employers will support a member of staff in housing difficulty. You will need to go to one of our regular referral points for your first referral. For subsequent referrals we may, at our discretion, allow an employer to refer you to our service.

Are you unable to get to one of our referral points

Because you are at school or college, please be reassured that in our experience most teachers or college staff will be very supportive of a student in housing difficulty.

Are you  unable to get to one of the referral points

Because they are closed. If it is safe to stay where you are now please stay there until one of the agencies is open. ONLY if you are not feeling safe where you are should you go to the nearest police station overnight. It would be helpful if you take something with your name and address on for identification purposes over the next few days.

If you are looking at our website because you think you might have to leave your present accommodation soon or because you want to leave your accommodation soon PLEASE do not leave that accommdation without getting advice FIRST. Bradford City Centre Project and CHAS housing both give independant advice.
