How You Can Support Us

The primary aim of our education work is to raise awareness about youth homelessness and the work of Bradford Nightstop so that young people in the Bradford District are aware that sleeping 'rough' is very dangerous and is something which they should never consider doing. The message which is communicated loudly and clearly to young people is that if they suddenly find themselves homeless they should seek help and advice.

However, some schools, colleges and alternative educational establishments have used the sessions as a springboard for active citizenship and gone on to organise fundraising activities and donated money and essential supplies to us. Tong School, Bradford College Work and Community Groups, Bradford Distributive Training Services, Beckfoot School, Dixons City Academy, Yorkshire Martyrs Catholic College, Bradford College Springboard Groups, Chapel Grange Special School, Wellington Primary School, All Saints' Primary School, Belle Vue Girls' School, Laisterdyke Business and Enterprise College, Oakbank School and Saint Philip's Primary School have all raised funds or supplies for us through activities such as  sponsored car washes and sports days, making calendars, selling fruit and biscuits and collecting and putting together individual packs of toiletries and other much needed supplies for the young people who use our service. We are extremely grateful to all the staff and students who have helped us and thank them for all their efforts on our behalf.

If you need help to organise any fundraising activity please contact Bill McCann by phone on 01274 776888 or by email at :
